Gana Diop‘s Sabar Group  plays their music following the path of their father, Ndongo Diop. Ndongo came came to Pikine (city in the Dakar Region of Senegal) in 1978 and stood at the origins of the current percussion culture in the region. The group follows the traditions of their spiritual ancestor and plays music that brings happiness and joy.
